Product Description

Chicago Bears Stadium Poster

This panorama of the Chicago Bears playing at Soldier Field was photographed by James Blakeway. The Chicago Bears, originally known as the Decatur Staleys, were founded by owner and head coach George Halas in 1920. The Staleys moved to Chicago in 1921 and became the Chicago Staleys. In 1922, the franchise was renamed the Chicago Bears. The Bears played their final game at Wrigley Field in 1970, before moving to Soldier Field. The original stadium was demolished following the 2001 season, and the Bears made their debut at the rebuilt Soldier Field in 2003, which retained the historic colonnades of the original structure.

This unique framing style permanently seals your print onto a 3/8" thick hardwood display board that is custom cut to the posters size. The edges are then bevelled and painted midnight black. The end result is a non-glare matte finish, that is cleanable, durable, and very stylish, at a fraction of the cost of custom framing. The Plak Mount price includes the poster price, Plak Mounting service, and hanging kit. For more information check out our Plak Mounting page.
